Tres Bien “Trey”
2002 Black Trakehner gelding
Star, snip and a little white on the very bottom of three feet
16 hands at 4 yrs old
Trey is TJ’s full brother and we are very pleased with this second Kostolany son. We expect he will top out at about 16.1. He is a much more refined horse than his brother. He has a lovely topline, compact frame, and chisled head. His movement is loose and lofty. He is a very well behaved horse, but is more spirited than his older brother. He has been started under saddle and is has proven to be a willinging, easy going and quick learner. He is now being prepared for competition.
Bloodlines Trey is by the champion German Trakehner stallion Kostolany out of our Oldenburg Verband approved Trakehner mare Tahary. His dam sire is the full brother to Arogno, sire of Anky van Grunsven's Trakehner mount Partout. His granddam is a designated "exceptional" mare for having produced two approved stallions and she was awarded State Premium and the Silver Medal of the German Riding Horse Federation. Trey's bloodlines include Enrico Caruso, Mahagoni (sire of Olympic dressage stallion Peron) and other outstanding Trakehners including Ibikus and Flaneur. His part siblings through his sire include eight approved stallions (including the Dutch champion sire Gribaldi) and the 2002 Niedersachsen dressage championship silver medalist, Shannon TSF.
